Ben Moll, Percussion
Ben Moll is an active college instructor, performer, and composer of all genres of music in the Pacific Northwest.
Mr. Moll teaches Music Theory, Ear Training, Music Appreciation, Composition and Percussion at Clark College as well as at Multnomah University where he is also head of the Music Theory/Composition Program. Mr. Moll will be beginning Doctoral Studies in Percussion in 2010. Exploring new and old music for percussion, as well as current pedagogy, Ben will develop through continuing to learn.
Ben recently appeared as Guest Soloist with the Oregon Pro Arte Orchestra performing Ney Rosauro’s Concerto for Vibraphone and Orchestra. Additionally, he regularly performs with select jazz talents from the region.
In the Spring of 2002, Mr. Moll earned his M.M. in Percussion Performance Eastern Washington University under Professor Martin Zyskowski. He received his B.M. in Percussion Performance and in Music Composition from EWU.
Ben makes his home in Vancouver, WA with his wife, daughter and golden retriever.
