Jeffrey Snyder, Trumpet
Jeff was born in Vancouver and graduated from Fort Vancouver High School. He joined the Vancouver Symphony full time in 2008 after being an extra player with the orchestra since 1992. Jeff has performed with the Oregon Symphony, Seattle Symphony, San Diego Symphony, Spokane Symphony and the Portland Opera. He has also played with Ray Charles, the Temptations and toured with the Broadway musical Damn Yankees starring Jerry Lewis.
He holds music degrees from Washington State University and the New England Conservatory of Music where he studied with Charles Schlueter, principal trumpet of the Boston Symphony. Jeff lives in Vancouver with his wife Shannon and their children Jocelyn and Thomas. He spends most of his free time traveling to baseball and soccer tournaments. |
