It takes a lot of work to run the Symphony! All we do would not be possible without our dedicated volunteers. The Vancouver Symphony Orchestra's mission is to enhance the quality of life in Southwest Washington by providing symphonic music of the highest caliber in live performances and through music education in schools, concert halls, and throughout the community.

Who Can Volunteer?

We welcome anyone who loves music, the performing arts, or who just wants to get more involved in the community! The only requirements are a good attitude and to be at least 18 years of age to sign up.

What Do VSO Volunteers Do?

Vancouver Symphony Orchestra USA season beings in September and ends in late May. We have many volunteer opportunities for our symphonic concerts and occasionally for other events during the season. The volunteer positions for symphonic concerts range from ushering to concessions to box office. By signing up you will be added to our team of volunteers and a VSO staff member will follow up with you on next steps.

What Are Volunteer Benefits?

In appreciation of your service as a volunteer we offer complimentary tickets to our concerts during the season.

How Do I Sign Up?

Please click the sign-up button below and fill out the Google form. You must be 18 years of age to sign up and please fill out the VSO Volunteer Confidently Form included in the Google Sign Up form. Then review our VSO Volunteer Handbook for more information about volunteering with us.
