Are you eligible to be a member of the Ron and Laura Croft Legacy Society?

The Ron and Laura Croft Legacy Society honors individuals who have made the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra a beneficiary of their will, living trust, retirement plan, life insurance policy or a life income gift.

Ron and Laura Croft Legacy Society members are treated as symphony “insiders” and:

  • Receive updates from VSO leadership, and
  • Receive invitations to periodic events.

Language to support the VSO in your Will or Living Trust

I hereby give __________ ($_______) OR ___________ percent (__%) of my estate to the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, a qualified charity, under section 501©(3) of the Internal Revenue Service, tax identification number 91-1281734, currently located at P.O. Box 525, Vancouver, WA 9866.

The use of this gift is not restricted and the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra is authorized to use this gift for the greatest need as determined by the board of directors.

OR

I have a preference that my gift be:

(1) Held as an endowment, named the John and Jane Doe Endowed Fund, and the income only from the endowment to be used by the VSO (either for the greatest need each year as determined by the board of directors) or

(2) Held as a (current use fund, the principal and income to be used by the VSO OR as an endowment, named the John and Jane Doe Endowed Fund, the income only from the endowment to be used by the VSO) for the following specific purpose: _____________________________________________. However, if the stated purpose is no longer practical or impossible according to the bylaws of the organization, the VSO will apply these funds to the purpose that most closely resembles my stated purpose above.
