DETAILS

How important is music in our community? Cities around the world have successfully leveraged music programs and the arts as an important part of their revitalization projects to increase tourism and other economic activity, regenerate underutilized urban real estate, and improve community engagement.

Join VSO Maestro Salvador Brotons, Los Angeles Philharmonic principal trombonist David Rejano, “Hello Vancouver” host Temple Lentz, All Classical Portland Radio 89.9FM’s Matt Rogers and others in a panel discussion that explores the positive impact music and other arts have in local populations, the relevance, roles & responsibilities of a cultural community and why building arts-based neighborhoods is so important.
